Sarah Burvill
Sarah Burvill is a PYP, EC Performing Arts teacher and the school wide Action Coordinator at The International School in Portland, Oregon. Prior to working in Portland, she was a PYP Performing Arts and MYP Special Needs Maths teacher at Aarhus International School in Denmark. Sarah has also worked as an EAL and music teacher in refugee camps in Greece, and has been teaching piano for many years. She has a BSc in Psychology and an MA in Disability Studies. She has held various non- teaching roles across the United Kingdom, working with adults with mental health problems and learning disabilities. Sarah is passionate about social justice and reducing inequity, wherever it occurs and in her spare time she works with the local homeless community as a mail distributor.
