2023 marked several major milestones for Toddle. We onboarded 500 new partner schools, became the world’s first AI-powered LMS, and reached a million users across the Toddle community – all the while staying true to our “teachers-first” ethos.
We are delighted to have started 2024 with a lot of thought and purpose. We hosted our first-ever Demo Day on 31st Jan where we unveiled 5 big innovations. Our Demo Day wasn’t just a showcase of new products and features but a testament to our commitment to helping educators do their best work. Each new innovative feature we announced was a result of hundreds of feedback calls we did with many of you.

Toddle AI 2.0
Since its launch last year, Toddle AI has helped teachers reclaim precious time and elevate classroom learning. Within just 6 months of launch, we have seen 60,000+ lesson plans, 80,000+ progress reports comments, and 45,000+ announcements generated with Toddle AI. The feedback that we have heard from many of you is that Toddle AI is helping you save 4-5 hours every week.
We are therefore very excited to be taking our work with AI forward with the launch of Toddle AI 2.0. Here are the upgrades that Toddle AI will now pack:
Multilingual Support
To support classrooms around the world, Toddle AI 2.0 can now converse and generate lesson plans in 30+ languages; it can also help translate content from one language to another in just a click.
Improved lesson planning
Toddle AI can now browse the web and recommend real resources for your lesson plans and assessments, along with citations and references.
Modifying existing curriculum
You can now also modify your existing lesson plans and assessments in creative ways with Toddle AI. Ex: adding more hands-on projects to a unit.
Expanded suggestion library
Toddle AI now comes in-built with 150+ suggestions across grade levels and subjects to help teachers build a wide range of lesson plans in no time.
MYP criteria based rubrics
Apart from creating regular rubrics, checklists, and single point rubrics for your lesson plans and assessments, Toddle AI will now also be able to generate MYP criteria based rubrics along with task specific clarifications.
Improved iterative capabilities
Toddle AI users will experience a 10X improvement in Toddle AI’s ability to follow instructions and generate specific outputs based on your ask.
AI generated portfolio captions
With a bit of AI magic, teachers can now generate descriptive, high-quality captions for photos in student portfolios.
Improved progress reports comments
With a lot more context on student performance, Toddle AI can now generate hyper-personalised progress report comments at the click of a button. You will also be able to define your own comment and voice structures to ensure that comments generated by Toddle AI really work for your context.
Toddle Connect
Toddle Connect is our brand new AI-powered communication platform built right within Toddle. It is an end-to-end messaging and communications solution designed with a goal to help our partner schools create more connected school communities. Toddle Connect will help you in 4 big ways:
You can now initiate 1:1 conversations with students, family members, and other teachers from anywhere in the Toddle platform.
Through our “channels” feature, you can manage group chats by bringing together students, families, and teachers from across the school.
Toddle Connect is powered by AI and is designed to help you every step of the way; it can help you with suggested responses, grammar checks, and even conversation summaries – all at the click of a button.
For school admins, Toddle Connect runs a real-time sentiment analysis on all conversations happening across the school and automatically flags conversations that need your attention; this helps you better capture the pulse of your school community.

Toddle Worksheets
Toddle Worksheets is our next-gen assessment platform that helps you streamline your entire assessment cycle – from creation and delivery to monitoring, grading and analytics. With Toddle Worksheets, you can:
Create assessments with diverse question types – multiple choice, fill in the blanks, True/False, long answer, multi-part, and even graphing questions.
Connect each question to your goals and standards to keep everything aligned.
Use our times tests and browser focus modes for summative assessments.
Provide personalised feedback to students through chat, audio, video, or direct annotation on their submissions.

Toddle DP Library
We have collaborated with experienced DP educators from around the world to create the largest ever repository of IB exam style questions, topic specific worksheets and mock exams – each with detailed solutions and mark schemes. We believe that Toddle Library will be a gamechanger for our IBDP partner schools and help you prepare your students to put their best foot forward for the DP exams.
Currently, Toddle Library supports six DP subjects:
We will soon be adding question banks for four more subjects – Economics, Business Management, ESS, and History. Our eventual goal is to be able to support most of the DP subjects.
IB Career-related Program
We have exciting news for our IB partner schools: Toddle now supports the IB Career-related Programme! We’ve developed specialized modules for the reflective project and service learning. Additionally, we’ve created tailored unit planning templates and planning insights to enhance personal & professional skills and language development within the IBCP. These enhancements are designed to help our partner schools implement the IBCP more effectively.
Ongoing Platform Enhancements
Apart from these new features, we have also made significant improvements to the overall Toddle platform:
Improvement in platform speed
You will now experience a smoother and faster Toddle. We have set up servers in 6 different countries to reduce latency, revamped our technology architecture, and changed the way data loads on every single page across the platform. Because of these changes, you will notice a 50-70% increase in the speed of the platform all across.
Dedicated infrastructure in China
We have set up dedicated servers in China which will allow schools in China to use Toddle without VPN. Our partner schools in China will also see significant improvement in system performance because of the new dedicated infrastructure we have deployed.
Improved progress reports
We launched compact reports and very soon we will also support creation of multi-term reports – these two features were requested by a lot of our partner schools and we are really glad to have made this happen.
Improved class stream
Toddle now offers enhanced flexibility for teachers enabling creation of assignments independent of units. Teachers can save tasks as drafts for gradual refinement. Additionally, submissions can be automatically closed after the due date or manually managed for better control.
Improved Attendance and Timetable
Administrators now have the ability to import school-wide timetables using ASC Timetables or the Toddle format. We will soon be allowing one click import of time tables from your SIS as well. We have added functionalities of bell schedules and routines to enhance the flexibility of timetable cycles at the grade level. Additionally, we’ve introduced a schedule calendar to offer finer control over rotation cycles on a daily basis.
