Build your own inquiry board: get classroom displays here

Every good detective needs their evidence board – a map of your current theories, questions, and connections. The inquiry board or wall is this living and responsive part of the PYP classroom.

We’ve developed an inquiry board template to be used in your classroom year-round. It’s been designed to align with our simplified inquiry cycle: ask, think, do. With guiding prompts and questions, it provides a structure for the learning journey while leaving space for you and your students to get creative and showcase learning along the way.

We’ve also designed a simplified inquiry cycle poster. The accompanying one-page cheat sheets give you actionable strategies for each stage while elaborating on the role of the teacher and the student. You can choose to post these on your wall or simply keep them handy as you plan and reflect.
