“The partnership between home and school provide the foundation to support students’ learning, growth, health and well-being and agency”

The Learning Community, From Principles into Practice

Learning in the PYP is a collective endeavour. It is grounded in the students’ local and global contexts. Students learn as much outside of the classroom as in it and educators need to ensure that their families are on the same page as them!

This simplified 1 hour workshop is designed to help you introduce the PYP to your families so parents know how learning will unfold and how to support their children’s learning journeys.

Using this presentation, you will support parents in exploring –

  • Why is inquiry important?
  • What is the PYP framework?
  • What is transdisciplinary learning?
  • How does the PYP help to develop the whole child?
