One of the cornerstones of the IGCSE is Active Learning and as a Cambridge educator, you want to make sure that your classroom is learner-centered.

Active Learning places the learner on the driver’s seat of their learning journey. When students are actively learning, they use higher order thinking skills and they are not just reading or copying.

Your role as an educator in the IGCSE classroom is to focus on “how” students learn and not just “what” students learn. Graphic organizers can be great tools to activate Active Learning in your IGCSE classroom. They will encourage students to analyze and structure their ideas clearly, think hard to make deeper connections, and focus on the process of learning.

At Toddle, we have curated 45 thinking tools to promote Active Learning in your classroom.

Use this resource to:

  • Increase Active Learning in your classroom
