About the session

Creativity, activity, and service are the three pillars of the DP CAS programme. Students undertake a journey of self-discovery, and take an active role in their communities, focusing on causes that resonate with them. At this student panel, join moderator Arti Gupta as she talks to DP students from different parts of the world about their CAS experiences. Our panelists are from the Amman Baccalaureate School, Pathways School Noida, India, and from The Koc School, Turkey. Discover how personal commitment drives students’ CAS initiatives, and how serving their communities has come to shape them into empathetic, lifelong learners.

Arti Gupta
Arti has a passion for Information technology and has been associated with this field for over two decades. Prior to being an educator, she has had extensive hands-on experience working on IT projects for clients across geographies and domains like Telecom, Investment Banking and Insurance. She has been working as an IB Educator since 2013 and has a rich experience of teaching several IT related subjects and curriculum, including ICT and CS for IGCSE, ITGS and IB DP Computer Science and IB MYP Design. Additionally, in her role as CAS Coordinator, she has successfully mentored many students to plan and execute meaningful community service projects. She has provided multiple local and global opportunities to students to engage in a variety of CAS experiences that push them to explore new avenues, move out of their comfort zone and become global citizens. Arti believes in developing students to be independent learners by giving them the right resources and guidance. She has a passion to bring out the best in her students and cares deeply for their holistic success.
