As an IBDP educator, one of your objectives is to ensure your students ace their exams, and the key to achieving this is through consistent practice assessments in class. Join this session to learn how to use ChatGPT to create subject-specific assessments that are not just challenging but also tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.

In this session, you will:

  • Get guidance on designing in-class assessments that hone specific exam skills
  • Learn techniques to create exam-style questions and markschemes for different subjects
  • Brainstorm strategies to create differentiated assessments with ChatGPT to keep students consistently engaged and challenged

Feedback, feed forward, and fostering a growth mindset with ChatGPT

Join this session to see how ChatGPT, when used responsibly, can help students take charge of their learning. How? By guiding them to chart their learning, reflect on areas of improvement, and provide strategies for future success. Additionally, we’ll explore how ChatGPT can offer immediate and constructive feedback on written assignments. This not only encourages students to adapt and learn on the go but also makes your feedback meaningful.

In this session, you will:

  • Craft prompts for feedback and feedforward strategies using ChatGPT
  • Learn methods to engage students in using ChatGPT for understanding checks
  • Gain insights into post-assessment reflective practices that empower students to monitor their academic progress

Arnavaz Kollah
Before joining Toddle, Arnavaz spent six years teaching IGCSE and IBDP subjects, including Biology, ESS, and TOK, and championing roles as a CAS advisor and EE supervisor. Now, as the Associate Director of Learning and Engagement (DP) at Toddle, she's diving into AI's potential as an educator's ultimate sidekick in streamlining their daily tasks.

Camille Gautier
Camille Gautier, an experienced educator and leader, began her career as a foreign language teacher in the UK before teaching in Moscow and Mumbai. Camille is highly skilled in foreign languages, ESL, teaching, and teacher training. She is a co-author of the DP French B Kognity textbook and holds a PGCE in Teaching Modern Foreign Languages. With over 12 years of experience in education, including more than 5 years as a DP coordinator, Camille is currently the Head of Secondary at DSB International School.
