Imagine a classroom without borders where you get to promote international-mindedness through the use of language, culture, ideas, and issues of global significance. The IBDP language B course provides an opportunity to do just that! Join us for our very first IBDP Deep-dive for language B as we explore how you can construct a purposeful language B course and support students in their language acquisition goals.

Join experienced language B practitioners from around the world and dive into the underpinning requirements of the subject. Brainstorm with peers about course design, how to prepare students for assessments, and grade some exemplars along the way!

Victor González
Victor González has been teaching modern languages and IT for over 20 years, conducting workshops and seminars at an international level. His interests lie in the fields of language curriculum and materials design through innovative digital tools. Victor is an IB and IGCSE book author for Cambridge University Press and Kognity.
Laetitia Chanéac-Knight
Laetitia Chanéac-Knight is a language B teacher in an international school in Spain and has held various important roles for French B. She currently teaches DP English and has taught French previously. She holds a PGCE, and an MA in applied linguistics. She co-authored the Hodder Education textbook for French B and wrote two activity books for Clé International.
Angela Lucca
Angela Lucca currently serves in an International School in Italy as the Head of Key Stage 5, IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, TOK Coordinator, and language B teacher. She is a certified, upskilled, and experienced educator. Her roles within the IB are varied and impressive. Her workshop experience includes virtual, face-to-face and online workshops for ATLs, TOK, leading the learning, language Ab Initio, language B, the learner profile, beyond the disciplines, living and learning globally, and investigating inquiry. In addition to her BA in Foreign languages and civilizations, she has a M.Ed. in curriculum design and advanced teaching of Italian language and culture, a certificate to teach Italian in primary school and she is a CELTA & CELTA YL certified teacher. She has recently completed Harvard Graduate School of Education’s certificate in school management and leadership. Currently, Angela Lucca has started a PGCEi in International Education at Bath University.
