Rebecca Taylor
Rebecca Taylor is currently the Primary Librarian at the International School of Beijing where she combines her passions for inquiry-based learning, self-directed reading, and educational technology. She is a fierce advocate of social justice, female financial literacy, and finding ways to tread more lightly on the planet. She spends her time cultivating community through volunteer work that focuses on healthy families.
Nadine Bailey
Nadine Bailey is a Teacher Librarian and Technology Integrator with experience working in primary and secondary in the IB system. She is passionate about the role of the library as an essential part of the educational ecosystem for all members of the school community. She believes topics such as diversity, inclusion and the global goals should be integrated into the curriculum to have the greatest impact. Her interests include bilingualism and language acquisition and using books for empathy building and social-emotional learning.
Lamiya Bharmal
Lamiya Bharmal is the PYP Librarian & Information Literacy teacher at Stonehill International School. Having taught since 2001, she has been a Homeroom teacher and Primary Librarian. She has completed her B.Ed, a Master’s degree in Literature, PGCEi and a Making Thinking Visible course. She gained a fresh new insight during this course which led to her writing an article on the IBO PYP Sharing Blog. As the PYP emphasizes student voice, choice, ownership, reflection she aims to equip learners to research independently and take ownership of their learning.
Carlos J. Diaz
Carlos J.Diaz has a passion for education, culture, game-based-learning, gamification, and information literacy. With 10+ years of experience as a librarian, he is a published writer and has a vast experience in media, video games in education, public speaking and cross-cultural understanding.
