About the talk

When a collaborative, reflective and student-centered inquiry planning protocol is in place, the MYP unit planner becomes an instrument that allows educators to write the curriculum in a sustainable manner. It therefore ensures that future adaptations are informed by the evidence of learning collected, reflections on the strategies employed, and acknowledgement of students’ learning histories.

In this engaging talk by MYP educator and leader Rafael Angel, discover how the MYP planner and planning cycle can bring the MYP model to life, making for memorable learning.

Key insights you don’t want to miss

  • Dive into how the MYP model is brought to life when learning is designed intentionally and constructed with explicit pedagogical moves
  • Explore how the MYP unit planner is not a lesson plan or a collection of lessons, but a map of learning that can power collaboration and reflection in a school
