About the session

The DP visual arts course encourages students to explore art in theory, practice, and in curation. Students explore and compare art forms across contexts and perspectives while building their own competencies as art-makers. How can we, as educators, evaluate these competencies objectively? Join this workshop by artist and educator, Shally Mahajan, as she calibrates our understanding of assessment within the visual arts course – its aims, objectives, and components. Gain insight into how objective criteria can be applied in a subjective context to help you determine the best fit for your students.
