About the session

The DP film course allows students to discover their artistic voice while developing an appreciation of multiple perspectives in film theories and practices. Aptly named ‘Cindemic’ (cinema + academic), this interactive workshop will help you discover how the art form and practice of film-making can be explored by students in academic settings. Moreover, you will be able to brainstorm with like-minded film educators to answer the question: ‘how should my film course map to the IB Learner Profile?’ Tathagata, as he interprets the skill, sets students required to communicate through the language of film. Explore strategies to support students as they undertake film production roles, and deliver a powerful final project successfully.
