Dr. Maria Hersey
Dr. Maria Hersey is a global educator with extensive experience in educational leadership, international education, social-emotional learning (SEL) and curriculum design. She is the Principal Advisor for Global Education Advisors. Maria's previous experience includes serving as the Director of Education and Training for The Goldie Hawn Foundation, managing the program MindUP™. Maria has help several positions within the International Baccalaureate Organization (IB) including that of Primary Years Program Regional Manager, Regional Development and PYP Curriculum Specialist. As an experienced educator with over 20 years in public education, she currently serves on the Board of Directors for Magnet Schools of America. Maria holds a Ph.D. in educational leadership from Florida Atlantic University where she also serves as an adjunct professor within the Departments of Educational Leadership and Curriculum, Culture & Inquiry.
