Sana Alavi holds a Masters in Educational Leadership and a double major in Bachelors in Bilingualism and Teaching English as a Second Language from the city of Chicago. She is passionate about the IB/PYP curriculum framework and values the power of the learner profile, concept-based curriculum and instruction, transdisciplinary approach to learning and teaching and the power of a collaborative WE culture. Sana has held many leadership positions including being a PD presenter and an Early Years Lead Teacher. She lives with her husband and two children in Doha, Qatar and currently serves as a PYP Coordinator in a flagship international IB school.
