About the session

Biology in the DP introduces students to investigations around cells to whole ecosystems. Students are able to develop research, data collection, and analysis skills, along with an overall scientific mindset – all of which can be a challenge to assess. This workshop by seasoned IB educator and examiner, Marwa Bkerat, focuses on enhancing your understanding of the purpose, structure, and requirements of assessments in DP biology. Join Marwa as she shares classroom activities to develop the necessary skills required for our budding biologists, and discusses ideas on managing assessments in the subject.
