Beth Alvarez has worked across all sectors of education (independent, government and catholic) throughout Australia, which has given her a rich teaching experience that includes middle leadership roles. She also has expertise in Indigenous education, school event organisation, and elite level sport. Currently, she is employed at Preshil, The Margaret Lyttle Memorial School in Melbourne, Australia where she teaches MYP PHE and Mathematics and DP SEHS. Over the past few years she has geared her career towards educating herself and refining her personal attributes related to pastoral care. This has translated easily for her into planning and developing IB curriculum to be meaningful and authentic.
