About the talk

Have you ever thought with your hands? Our thinking and choices can be transformed by our interaction with objects. Tune into this lively keynote from Toddle’s The Learning Jam 2021, with Gever Tulley, Founder, Tinkering School, to explore ideas and teaching methodologies that create durable and effective learning experiences. Also explore how these experiences can be designed to best promote self-directed learning in students. 

To actively engage in this session, make sure to keep the following handy – 

  1. A set of chopsticks 
  2. Pencils, or pens 
  3. A marble
  4. A ping pong ball
  5. A round bead, or something similarly round
